As a post-graduate living in Boston with a passion for news and politics, I’ve seen many of my peers become jaded with these topics. Many feel that our news cycle has become overwhelming, a barrage of national and international crises with several panic-inducing stories breaking each day. Many otherwise engaged viewers simply don’t know where to start.

I hope to center much of my work on this website to serve as that starting point. I think it’s important to prioritize both the big, impactful, news topics as well as pieces to break up the more serious; pieces people can relate to and go to when they want to delve into something a little less macro. With breakdowns of important current events as well as local culture and lifestyle pieces, I hope to make Burning World a multifaceted site for people looking to reinvigorate their desire to stay informed and involved.
